Workshop Origami for e-paper

@ Willem de Kooning Academy
Cross-lab

http://blog.wdka.nl/crosslab-diy/2009/10/01/origami-workshop-maki-ueda/

first 2 hours: folding exercises - crane and Miura folding
last 1.5 hours: folding, making electronic switches, so that it becomes a product that triggers sound and image.

My part was the first half.

folding examples by Maki:

Miura-ori: The origami technique that was originally developed for the satellite pannel

Exercise of Miura-folding

Folding a speaking bird

Making electronic switches

selecting sound and image

The students did a great job. They made something out of it in 3 and a half hours...!
